Delete your Tachotec Driver account

Tachotec Driver is an app by Tachotec Control, SL (developer “Tachotec” on Google Play). Here we explain how to delete your account and the associated data, without needing to have the app installed.

Before deleting your account: your Premium subscription

Premium bought on Google Play: deleting your Tachotec account does NOT cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel it yourself in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions; otherwise Google will keep charging the renewals.
Manage Google Play subscriptions

Premium paid on tachotec.es (card, Stripe): when the deletion is carried out we cancel the subscription so that it does not renew or get charged again.

Option 1: from the app

Open Tachotec Driver, sign in and go to Settings › Danger zone › “Request deletion of my account”. The deletion is scheduled for 7 days later and you can cancel it during that period. After that it cannot be undone and we send you a confirmation email.

Option 2: by email (without the app)

Write to app@tachotec.es from your account email address with the subject “Delete my Tachotec Driver account”. We will process it within one month at the latest and confirm the deletion by email.

What data is deleted and what is kept

Account and profile data, sessions, shifts, breaks and locations, the usage log and the tachograph file copies stored on tachotec.es are deleted or anonymised. Payment, subscription and invoice data (6 years, accounting and tax obligation) and the consent log (proof of GDPR compliance) are kept, blocked.
